Merry Christmas!

Hi! Here's a quick little peek inside our home this Christmas and a few little DIY's I did to get me in the spirit and spread the cheer!
Our front door faces west, so it gets blasted with direct afternoon sun, so as much as I wanted a real wreath, I figured it wouldn't last long, So, I bought a faux boxwood wreath at HomeGoods and dressed it up with some faux magnolia leaves, lambs ears and a simple red ribbon.
The Merry Christmas Banner is from Michaels and the other two garlands were DIY'd by yours truly.

I pinned this DIY Vintage Christmas banner years ago and I've been wanting to make it every Christmas but just never got around to. You can find the DIY directions on A Beautiful Mess. I pretty much followed the directions exactly. The only thing I did different was use a fusible interfacing (instead of glue) that bonds the felt letters to the banner with a hot iron. (tip: use a thin cloth between you iron and felt letter when heating/fusing the letters to the banner. otherwise, the felt will kinda become weird and matte). I think it turned out super cute!

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a blessed 2017!
